every child has the gift of providing innocent insight as he discovers the world around him. i think it's a gift from God - so that parents don't go clinically insane with the stresses of raising a kid. after four years of being amazed -and at times perplexed- by my son Nile's journey through childhood, it's time to write it all down. although i tell myself it would be impossible to forget, i know some day i will cherish being able to read this. and i will still be shaking my head.
Wooooohooooo! And after the tears dried up he said he had fun! Poor kid! (His buddy was crying before he even got on, and at least 3 of the 10 kids surrendered before they started. I was TERRIFIED!)
